Acne Skincare Realities - A Slap In The Face

Oh no. What is that! Right on your nose, dead center. What ever you're thinking, don't touch it. When they're inflamed like that, touching them can be down right painful. And no matter how much you want to squeeze, poke or pop that sucker, you'd better think hard before doing so. I'm sure you've heard the many tales about scaring… or worse. So, what can you do about that preposterous pimple? How can you make a public appearance with that humongous zit protruding from the center of your mug? No one could feel comfortable at school or work looking like this. And you know people are going to stare. Because, that's what people do. What you're going to need is an acne skincare system that is effective in preventing situations like this.

Potential Acne Solutions

Check out the wide range of potential acne solutions. I say potential, because not all of these products and systems will work for you. That's the unfortunate truth. Different people have different skin types, which necessitates different treatments. As a matter of fact, some "so-called" acne remedies will only aggravate your affliction.

A Slap In The Face

I'll never forget the first pimple product I had the misfortune of trying. It was called something like, Oxy 10. Depending on your age, you may have seen this stuff way back in the early 90s. It was supposed to "zap zits on contact". What a complete joke! I dabbed some of this cream on my zits before bed one night and woke up with what appeared to be a blotchy sun burn. It turns out, the product was too strong for my delicate skin. It left me sporting little red patches, which looked even worse.

The One That Worked For Me

I tried a plethora acne skincare products before finding one that actually worked for me. That treatment is a system, and is called Proactive Solution. This system of acne skin care treatment keeps the process fairly simple:

  1. You have a face cleanser
  2. a toner to follow it
  3. and then you finish with a preventative moisturizer.

If it works for you, within no time your complexion will be back to the way it should be.

I'm sure you've noticed that there are currently a very large number of acne skincare remedies available. Not all of them are efficacious for everyone. So, the best place to start is your local dermatologist (this is what I should've done). He/she can diagnose your particular skin condition and prescribe the most appropriate treatments. You may even benefit from an orally administered acne skincare treatment.
