Way back, when I was young, I didn't think that the best skin care product would ever be a requirement for me. You see, even during my teenage years, as if by magic, my skin took care of itself. I always had a good complexion—no zits, oily or dry skin, no blotchy skin. My mane was shiny and full. Yes, appearance wise, times were good for me.
Unfortunately, everything changed when I reached my mid-thirties. And actually, it happened quite suddenly. For a while, I was in self-denial. I was shocked at how different my complexion now was. I started seeing wrinkles, splotches, and unevenness, and, can you believe it? — split ends! Oh, the horror. In less than a year, I was beginning to look…old. So, I began my search for the best skin care products I could find.
I started testing some of the—purportedly—best skin care products that were available at the time. None of the were doing the job. The best product for oily skin was drying me out to the point where my face began to peel. A word of caution: find free samples at cosmetics counters, or you'll be spending big bucks on these "top" skin care commodities.
Back then, I must have tried all the top products under the sun; not one of these products made much difference to my skin. Even though it was possible—with some of the brands—to cover up some of my problematic skin, I didn't find an effective anti-aging emollient…at first.
Luckily, after an exhausting search, I found a product that actually had a positive effect. The best skin care product I've unconcealed, so to speak, could not be found at the department store. In fact, I found a natural skin care product at a county fair. Being homemade from organic materials, it was created with locally grown herbs. I was dubious about "natural" skin care products, but I was talked into trying it. I was shown the testimonies of actual customers who swore it was the best skin care product they'd ever tried.
During the course of a few weeks, I became convinced of the improvement on the appearance of my skin. I looked obviously younger and, perhaps, more attractive this skin lotion on applied to my face. Forget that it was costly—it was worth every penny. This was absolutely the best skin care product I've ever come across. I actually replaced all of the lotions and potions I was using back then. These days, I don't buy many cosmetic "collectibles."
